The article is a publication of archaeological finds from Bactrian site of Kampyrtepa related to metal production: slag, tuyere, and metal finds (II century BC-II century AD). All objects were found at the area of the fortified southeastern entrance complex off the Oks River and river harbor. Archaeometallurgical investigations of metal finds and ferrous slag proves that local population of Kampyrtepa used such objects like tools and jewelry of bloomery iron and nonferrous metals which was fabricated in traditions of North Bactria of ancient times. Analysis of bulk components and their ratio in by-product shows a strong ferrous slag, which was produced in a process of direct reduction of metal ore in the bloomery furnace. Further processing of slag is not exposed. There is also published a tuyere in the article, which is the earliest sample of this kind in Central Asia. The find of the nozzle bellows undoubtedly indicates that a blacksmith workshop functioned in a place of a settlement. These facts lead to the conclusion that full circle of metallurgical process - from smelting to final handling - was practiced on this site in I century BC-I century AD.
